COMPANY BACKGROUND

Outlook South West was initially formed in 1998 by a team of Clinical Psychologists with previous experience of working within a range of NHS settings. After being awarded an NHS contract to provide primary care mental health services throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, the company grew rapidly in terms of staff, clinical expertise and infrastructure. 
 
In the 12 years to date Outlook South West has:

• Developed innovative primary care services for people with common mental health problems in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
• Provided education and supervision for therapists, GPs and other health workers in the county
• Provided services to local businesses for workplace stress control and training
• Organised training events by nationally acclaimed specialists in cognitive behavioural therapy and other psychological approaches
• Developed a comprehensive service for providing medico-legal assessments and therapies for local and national solicitors and insurers
