Managing Low Mood and Worry

Based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Managing Low Mood & Worry is an NHS-funded, six week educational course from Outlook South West. The course is interactive and designed to help you understand what causes episodes of low mood and worry along with developing skills to better manage and overcome this.

The course focuses on:

  • Understanding the vicious cycle of low mood and generalised anxiety and what is keeping the problem going.
  • How to reverse this negative cycle, including problem solving difficult situations.
  • Strategies for reducing worry and overthinking.
  • Identifying your values and building  a meaningful life.
