SUICIDE LIAISON SERVICE
This is a new service that the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly has commissioned us to provide across the county. It has been developed to support people who have recently been bereaved by suicide.
We have two fully trained suicide liaison professionals who provide county-wide support that includes: face-to-face contact with those left behind (family, loved ones or friends), information, practical support and guidance about the sorting out of personal affairs, as well as liaison with the Coroner's Office, the Police, media or faith groups where necessary.
The service is open to anyone who has recently been affected by suicide. If you or someone you know would like to access this free service you can call us direct on (01208) 871905, or referrals can be made to us from your GP/health professional.
