The post holder will work within our IAPT service providing high volume, low intensity interventions and management of caseloads, whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. The training will equip the post holder to provide a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based approaches to enhance self-management for patients with mild-to-moderate common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. The post will also become involved in the delivery of group psycho-educational courses based on CBT concepts & SilverCloud online programmes. The PG Cert/Degree Level 6 Psychological Therapies Practice (Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) training commences from Monday 3 September 2018 (please see supporting information below regarding all dates).  All teaching finishes on 15 March 2019. Formal completion of the programme will be upon the granting of the award in June/July 2019. It is ESSENTIAL that you are able to commit to all of the university dates.
